Terms of Service

Last updated: October 24, 2026 · Deutsche Fassung

These terms apply when you use Luna, on the website or in the apps. Luna is made by Tuncay Ali Karpuzoglu (Watermelonson) in Heidelberg, Germany. The full details are in the Impressum, and how we handle data is in the Privacy Policy.

Luna is offered as is

The website is free. We offer Luna as it is, with no guarantee that it works, stays available or is accurate, and we may change or end any part of it. Luna is an educational tool: its physics is simplified in places and AI answers can be wrong, so do not use it for navigation, safety or any other real decision.

Accounts and newsletter

An account is optional and only for people 16 or older. You can delete it at any time: in Menu > Account, open More. That removes your profile, your votes and flags, and the forms you sent while signed in; your posts and comments on the Ideas and bugs board stay, without your name. The newsletter starts only after you confirm your address, and every mail has an unsubscribe link.

Your display name

Your display name is public: other people can see it, for example next to your posts on the board. It must not impersonate another person, a company, an organisation or the Luna team, and it must not be offensive. Some names are reserved, and every name is checked automatically before it is saved. We may change or remove anyone's display name at any time.

What you post is your responsibility

This covers posts and comments on the Ideas and bugs board, bug reports, suggestions, shared systems and systems you make with the AI generator. Post nothing illegal or abusive, nothing hateful or sexual, no spam and no other people's personal data. We may remove anything and block accounts that break these rules. To report content, write to the address below.

What we may do with what you post

You keep the copyright in what you post. By posting it you give us a free, permanent, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, copy, change and publish it, in Luna and outside it: for example in videos, on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, on the Luna website and in the newsletter. If you send an idea, suggestion or bug report, we may build, change and publish it, and we owe you no payment or credit. Anyone who has a share link can open the system it points to.

Buying the app

The iOS and Android apps are sold through the App Store and Google Play. Buying, payment and refunds follow Apple's and Google's terms. If Luna ever sells something on its website, we will update these terms before that.

Liability

We are not responsible for what other people post or for the sites Luna links to, and otherwise we are liable only as far as German law requires. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or under the Product Liability Act, or the mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

Changes

We may change these terms and update the date at the top. If you have an account, we tell you about a significant change by email or in the app at least 7 days before it applies. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

Law

German law applies. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union, you also keep the mandatory protection of the law where you live. We do not take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
